Movies for my young son
My mrs went out and bought some Sesame Street DVDs for my young son. We watched them a few times and now they won't play anymore. As I understand this happens to DVDs on occasion and I need to get the movies in MP4 format. Now I have no problem paying for a legal copy of the Sesame Street moves if anyone would point me to a store that can legally sell me an MP4 version of Sesame Street show.

What's happened to the DVD's? Are they scratched? Have you tried gently cleaning them with warm soapy water?

Who is the primary handler of these DVD's? You might want to consider back up your DVD's. But the DVD's should be able to be cleaned.

If you treat DVDs with care, they really should last indefinitely. I don't think I've ever had a DVD "die" and I have hundreds of them.
