I was browsing around and came across this page from Amazon. I didn't know whether to trip over my shoe laces or what! I thought people would get a kick out of this!

I saw this on amazon also. I laughed really hard, particularly since I got one for Christmas that my husband only paid $185.00 for. My daughter works at Waldenbooks, they had one left on clearance and she grabbed it quick. The $185.00 was the total price and she did not use her discount (it doesn't apply to eraders). So yes when I saw what Amazon wanted my first thought was "They are out of their minds!!". I like the 700 a lot, just wish the battery life was a bit better.

I upgraded to the 700 from a 505 and at least with my units the battery life really did not change. What does make a difference is reading at night with the light --- this drains the battery much more quickly, but it is still better than any tablet or palmtop I have used.

Some users do report that the touch-panel uses the battery much more than the physical buttons, but I have not been able to confirm this.

I am still a happy psr-700 user, despite paying USD400 for it,

Note that this is not "Amazon" wanting this silly price, but a private seller.
