Lightbulb Hello

Hello, my name is Suzanne and I just got the Sony PRS 600 for christmas! I love it, I have downloaded some books and have already begun reading. Since I am new to ebooks, can someone tell me where I can download some ebooks that will not cost too much? Thanks!

You can download free books from this very site, at the top of the page click "e-books" and you can download lrf or epub books for your reader.

other places to try are www.kobobooks.com, www.booksonboard.com, inkmesh.com, gutenburg, google books, that's all I can think of off the top of my head, there are a lot more sites out there... You can also read library books on your sony 600, make sure to check if libraries in your area offer ebooks. Is there any particular genre / author that you are looking to find?

Hi Suzanne, it's a pleasure to welcome a fellow North Carolinian to MR!

What a great Christmas present--lucky you!

I second Latinandgreek's suggestion to check out the books here on MR. I'd say that 80% of the books I've read since I've had my Kindle I got here.

My library does not have that capabilities as of yet, they are working on it though.

I am looking for like Ted Dekker, Lillian Jackson Braun, Stephen King, and Dean Koontz, just to name a few. I will check out some of the other places that you mentioned. Thanks

Welcome to MobileRead, Suzanne.

If your library doesn't stock ebooks, your only other legal option is to buy them from the sources listed.

You can try comparing prices here to find the best deals......

http://www.ebookprice.info/

http://inkmesh.com/

There are a couple of more comparison sites also.......maybe someone else will chime in and post.
