Aigo EB6301 - new ebook reader
Aigo, a Chinese manufacturer of MP3 players, just released a new liseuse. The projected retail price is 2500 yuan. There is no word yet on whether it will be available outside of China.

  • 6" Vizplex screen
  • 2GB storage
  • TF (micro SD) card slot (8GB limit)
  • document formats: PDF, DOC, TXT, HTM, HTML, CHM
  • connectivity: USB2.0
  • speaker

Liseuse is a local to MR and most of France word that some are trying to coin as the word to describe an electronic book reader. e-Reader is taken as a copyrighted name, so that causes certain amonts of chaffing around here. As does liseuse, some times.

To all: do not turn this thread into anything about choice of words to describe electronic book readers, please.

This liseuse seems rather expensive to me, and the lack of support for EPUB is puzzling.
The speaker would be handy (assuming it doesn't drain the battery as badly as some other combo liseuse/MP3 players do). That's assuming it does play MP3's that is
