I want to read e-Books

Hello All,

Im wanting an ebook reader, and am lost with the decisions lol. I saw the nook and kindle their both nice... but i would prefer being able to buy from both amazon and b&n as wellas utilize the google pdf's and project gugenheim and the other free'bee's as well as library books. I have a computer with mediocre internet, so would be nice if I could go online through the reader to download the books.

I contemplated getting a Blackberry phone but was wondering if it saves where you were last at or do you have to start from the begining again? Can it do the PDF's?

thanks

Welcome to MobileRead, deryk.

As far as I know, there is no device that lets you "do it all".

You could buy the nook, then download the free "kindle to pc" option, which would let you buy ebooks from Amazon, but read only on your computer.

"Project Gutenberg" can be used with any device.

What about a PSP? I found some mention on the net about being able to read pdf's and .txt on them... anything like that running windows that you would be able to download the software on to view amazon and b&n books?
