Hello, I just dove in.
Hi.

I've been poking around here for a short while now and I've found this place to be helpful. I read a little but sadly don't have as much free time to devote to many books. My wife on the other hand is an avid reader and I've been considering getting an e-reader for her for Christmas.

Today it happened. Thanks to this forum I learned about the refurbished Kindles from Amazon. Wanting the larger screen, but not the larger price, I found a middle ground with a refurbished DX and placed the order.

She's going to be surprised I'm sure and hopefully happy.

That sounds like a wonderful present. I think you're going to be popular. Now - don't forget to load it up with lots of her favourite books. If she likes older literature, there are lots of very nicely formated public domain books here at mobileread, all free.
