I am looking for a book (fiction or non-fiction) that relates to a life of a lighthouse keeper. Any recommendation?

I have no idea about the accuracy of the restoration description, but A Salty Piece of Land, by Jimmy Buffett, is a novel that involves restoring a lighthouse. I enjoyed it, but then, I'm a Parrothead.

I always wonder what life would be like as a light house keeper in a remote island. Not that I want to be one but it's just for my curiosity's sake.

Yeehah... found the ebook version for my Nook in my public library!! I can't wait to go home and borrow it later.
