Hello from beautiful, sunny, warm Palm Springs, California.

I'm Steve and I'm a geekish Mac fanboi. Three years ago I retired from the corporate world and these days I keep busy with my tiny little private web hosting company. In addition to hosting web sites of my own I provide pro bono hosting to a few sites that promote critical thinking and skepticism.

I have a first generation Kindle around here somewhere, but I also have a Kindle DX as my primary ebook reader. I also provide links to 300,000 commercial ebooks on one of my newest websites.

I found a thread here today that helped me get a DRMed mobi file onto my Kindle via my Mac Pro and in the process decided this looks like a well organized and useful site.
