Plucker, Sunrise and TX

I just upgraded from a Palm Zire 71 to a Palm TX. The Zire handled Plucker and Sunrise well. Has anyone had any problems with TX? Thanks

AFAIK, the last official release (1.8) has problems with NVFS devices. (It was released before the first NVFS device became available.) You might want to try the CVS snapshot. The CVS log shows that fixes for NVFS devices have been implemented since the last release. I can't vouch for its stability, though, as I don't have an NVFS device myself.

It's about time the Plucker folks released a new stable version. Is nobody interested in it anymore?

Been using Plucker/Sunrise on TX without problems. Have you installed any TSR apps, clockers, button remapping or other hacks?

I haven't installed Plucker/Sunrise yet. Just got the TX yesterday, and scrambling around updating programs before I install 3rd party apps. No hacks.

Palm TX, Sunrise, Plucker and NVFS

I've been using Sunrise and Plucker on my Palm, and have a 512MB SD card installed. I've been using this (almost) without incident.

Every once and awhile, I get a lockup -- it seems to be the Plucker reader. I do something, and can't get off the page I'm reading. The resolution has been to delete Plucker, and reinstall it.

This is only a nuisance if I store things on the onboard memory rather than the SD card. I have then reinstall all of those onboard memory documents.

Do check the software compatibility lists at palmfacts.com and palmfocus.com before you install other third party apps.

I've had problems with documents that have many pictures in them, running on my TE2. I either get "out of memory" error messages or simply have crashes. For what it's worth, I previously had a Tungsten E and never had these problems. YMMV. It appears to be a plucker issue and not a Sunrise issue.
