E-Ink cell phone design
![]() The idea is that the user can customize the front face, phone pad, turn it into a QWERTY keyboard, MP3 player or whatever. I think the thinness of this device is a bit much to expect given the proposed functionality, but not outside the realm of the one-day possible. |

From the picture I understand that the keypad is solid. This makes it an expensive or impossible device, of course, because it needs different drive lines for each button.
Hmm wait... Ok... I see. The trick is transparent buttons above the Eink display. Yeah, Holly Gates could make one for you if you bribe him enough. |

I like it as a design, and might even give it a buy if it ran PalmOS
