Calibre 0.6.14 unsupported format character '$' (0x24) at index 5

ERROR: 错误：未处理例外: <b>ValueError</b>:unsupported format character '$' (0x24) at index 5

windows xp professional with Simplified Chinese language pack. Can't convert any book without getting this error.

I switched back to 0.6.11, and everything's working fine.

ps. I tried to get it work on my laptop(also WinXP, Chinese Language), and got the same error. maybe it's a chinese character problem?

It's a bug in the chinese translation. Change your language to english until it is fixed.
