PRS 700
I bought the 700 a few months ago. I have had problems with the software on a Vista PC (what else is new). But my real concern is the rather poor screen quality. I heard that Sony may do a free upgrade to the 600, which cost less but I would be willing to make that trade. Or to the daily edition model coming out. Any news of that out there?

Welcome to MobileRead, LaC!

I haven't heard about an upgrade, either, but it is definitely something I would consider. The print clarity is much better on the 600 than the 700 and I really LOVE the dictionary look-up. The Ebook Library software is one of the biggest drawbacks with the Sony but thankfully there's Calibre which you can get here at MR.

I find eBook Library works fine on XP Pro and Vista Home Premium. I have never had a problem with eBook Library 3.0.
