PDF Name Change

I will report my problem here, since I saw someone else hit something similar in another forum. My problem is with, of all things, the PRS-600 PDF manual that I downloaded from Sony. I used Calibre to rename the document to just PRS600. The file name looks OK, but it shows up on the device as PRS60 followed by a square character. Close enough to a 0 to not bother me much.

the only way I know to change the name on a PDF is to use Adobe Acrobat... and change the properties.
