Nokia 770 vs. pocket pcs

I'm trying to find the best possible portable e-book reader. My Treo 650 and HP 2745 are just a little too small for my poor eyesight.

I bought a Nokia Internet tablet 770 and the sluggisness and placement of scoll buttons and lack of support are turning me off and I'm considering returning it.

I read in a review where page loading was fast and it had instant on on the Nokia. 30-45 seconds is not instant on and I wonder if the reviewers had ever tried a fast machine like the HP 2745.

What about the larger Pocet PCs - the Ipaq 4700 and Dell Axims. Any commments?

Can you buy the Dells at a Dell booth or do you have to mail order and wait a month?

The HP4700 looks interesting. It has a big screen, but it is a big as the 770?

With my Axim X50v, page turns etc is virtually instaneous. However, if you are looking for a great e-book reader, you may want to hold on for a few more months until the iRex becomes available: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...?threadid=5582

The HP4700 has the best screen of all currently available PPCs. It measures 4-inch (vs. 3.7-inch of the best Axims). The Nokia 770 measures 4.3-inch.
