I stumble across this site, by the Library of Congress, thinking there would be books, but what I found is almost as good, and I thought some of you might like it.

Nice find - but like Google Books one needs a PC connected to the Internet for it to be of any use ....

There are downloads available in TIFF and PDF format - so this is debatable.
