Transferring to a Windows 7 machine
A colleague has just bought a Windows 7 machine and is trying to work out what he needs to do to transfer his downloaded eBooks over.
At the moment, all the books are on his Reader; does it behave like an iPod and retain a copy on the host PC? In which case, does anyone know the location where my colleague places the relevant files? Many thanks! Trent SC |

It depends on the type of reader he has and what settings. Some readers will allow you to transfer from the reader to a PC, some won't. If he can figure out the file names for his eBooks he can run a search on his PC for them. If they are on there he can run the Easy Transfer function which will move his selected files, applications and settings over to his new machine.
