Zire 71 Hot Sync Problem

Hello Everyone--I am new to this forum and came basically because I am having some problems. I hope that isn't considered rude. I have a Zire 71 which I have been hot synching to my computer at work. I took my cradle home to use on my home computer and when I try to hot sync it won't do it and says in the log something about the computer not responding to some qualifying query....If anyone can provide any help. I am running windows XP professional and using the USB. I thank you for your time and assistance.

Are you sure the Palm desktop software is installed on the computer at home.....?

I have had the same problem. I read about some issue with having an SD card in the Zire 71 (maybe it was a locked SD card) created a problem. I have Quickoffice and that is locked out also. I have this software only on my home PC . Have you had any success in the last year??
