Hi
FBReader v0.7.1 was recently released. It featured:
Meanwhile I was working on the Maemo version. It seems that the gap in functionality between the port and other versions is now gone and it's almost ready to be released Roger was kind to try a preliminary package and he reported that it worked OK for him. So I hope to release the package during this week (I do not know how many owners of Nokia 770 are reading this though )

It's a fabulous reader. I stopped in to look at what was going on -- which seems coincidental since only a moment ago I was using the FBReader package Misha sent me to compare three versions of one title -- one in txt format, one in html, and the last converted by the any2fb program, which took the Word document that was the original source for all three versions and converted it to the fb2 format.
The version converted from Word was by far the most readable. But I think I'll also compare it to versions I convert in Plucker too to see what it seems to like the best. I'll be reporting more soon. Roger Sperberg |
