Use script to post form (to print page)?

I've run into a couple of XML feeds where the print view of the linked page was embedded in the article as a list to a form post (if that make sense) and was wondering if it is somehow possible push Sunrise through to the print view during generation.

Example - ExtremeTech News feed:
The link in the XML rss feed is this:
http://www.extremetech.com/article2/...129TX1K0000532

and then onto that page there is this HTML code burried:
Quote:

So have Sunrise pull that linked page down instead of the first link. Possible or pipe dream?

Look closely, you need to append "hidPrint=true" to the URL.

You're right, so the "hidPrint=true" needs to be tacked on to the "print_article" URL once I dig it out of the base HTML., but I'd still need to dig the URL out from the form action link. I'm thinking this can't be done.

Here's from RSS XML (http://rssnewsapps.ziffdavis.com/extreme.xml):
Quote:

So the only way to get to the print_artcile it to go to that Link, then dig out this from the page's source and then have Sunrise request the print page:
Quote:

and basically have Sunrise skip the first link and use the URL it dug out, and like you said, tack the &hidPrint=True to the end.

You're right. I only glanced over it. There's no way to do this for this site, as URL rewriting is based on there being a common ID in the original and print URLs. In this case they use different IDs.
