Is there another way to get to NYT? That is my favorite channel. I guess I won't be getting rid of Avantgo.

So far, no.

NYT has hidden their AvantGo channel again, but someone may stumble on to it and we'll be able to get back to it. Even their text version is unusable for PDA because of all the extra graphics, ads, etc.

Avantgo still uses the same channel that we were using, at least it seems to me so. What I think happened is that NYT does an explicit IP check to see if you are coming from Avantgo server (by using Avantgo's Hotsync) - and if you don't, they redirect you to their front page.
