Hello from the Isle of Man

Hello all,

I'd like to introduce myself - Ady Hall - living on the Isle of Man (known for TT races, tail-less cats and, erm, that's about it).

I'm afraid I'm one of those dreaded individuals that has recently published their book - and I wondered if there was a section on this forum to tell peeps about the book without annoying anyone.

Many thanks
Ady

hi Ady, welcome to the forum ! we're actually always really pleased to meet new authors so don't worry about that.

we'd love to hear more about your book ; you can either start a thread in the writers' forum to tell us about it (i recommend that), or (if it's available free) you might start one in the "deals, freebies and ressources" forum. we've got quite a few writers hanging around here, as you'll discover.

meanwhile, take a look around, don't hesitate to ask questions and participate in the discussions. and if you'd like a bit of reading to clear your head after a writing session, don't miss out on our ebooks section, we've got thousands of public domain or CC books formatted by our members, available for download for free. just click on the "e-books" link in the blue nav bar at the top of the page.

Isle of Man??? The bark I used to work on (the "Star of India" .... originally "Euterpe") was built in Douglas Harbor. I do a lot of work (virtually only) on the Isle of Man because you are also very well known for being a remarkably stable place for offshore accounts. But then, I bet you already knew that and just forgot.

Welcome to MR. Now, I must really go to bed before I fall over.

Hi guys,

Thank you for the friendly response! I've posted in the writers section and look forward to any comments from a sample download.

And yeah - the Isle of Man is known for it's creditable offshore companies and accounts. I hate to admit it but I'm in the finance industry too. But don't hold that against me

Welcome to MobileRead, Ady!

We do love hearing from authors and have many authors who publish and share with us. We're also a crazy lot, especially in the Lounge, but don't let that scare you away!

Happy Reading and Writing!
