reflected forms and home-made dictionary

I made a dictionary for Kindle DX according to this article:

Everything works perfectly except it can't show the reflected forms of any word: plural forms, past tense, etc.

I understand that this problem can be solved with the advanced dictionary format under mobipocket creator. But this obviously requires the dictionary be built from the very beginning. Is there any way to get the reflected forms to work If we convert dictionary from stardict etc?
