Hi there from NY.
I'm so glad I stumbled onto this very informative forum! I'm getting one of the new Sony models (probably the Touch) for my birthday, as the local library has a great selection of e-books that I'd love to bring around with me. I've never really bought into e-books until I saw one personally, and how convenient they would be to a college student. But with the cheaper price of the Sony, I'm sold!

I am totally jealous!! I am seriously thinking about getting one of the Sony 600 devices! I love, love, love my 700, but really want dictionary look-up and am hoping the screen on the 600 is crisper than that of the 700. Be sure and let us know how you like your new toy!
