Problem with calibre

I am a new user of Sony PRS-505. I downloaded Calibre and after converting books from fb2 to pdf I'm getting only part of the book on my reader. When I'm trying to read the same book on my PC in calibre it shows all the pages, but on my Sony reader it displays only 8 pages of the book, the rest of them are blank. Can anybody help me?

try epub.

calibre can convert from fb2 to epub format. should work better.

I just tried and it didn't work. I'm trying to convert Russian book and with epub it's unreadable. So far only PDF worked but partially.

It's exactly what I'm trying to do and it doesn't work. I converted it in PDF using calibre, but even though I can see all the pages in calibre I'm getting only 8 pages on my Reader, the rest of them are blank.

I tried to convert another book and I got the same result - 8 pages.
