'New' Flag
Is there any way to remove the 'new' flag on books I've transferred over to the Kindle without opening each book? I haven't had much luck searching for it, so I thought I'd ask just to be sure.

It goes away after a couple of days ... but I don't really remember how long. I bought 3 books on Monday & downloaded them using the Whispernet connection. Today, the "new" indication is gone. When it disappeared, I don't know.

You can also simply open the file and then close it again. The "New" is gone. This is a lot quicker than waiting possibly three days.
