Greetings
I'm thinking about getting an eReader, found this site right off, and am now suffering information overload. I want to read classics, mostly (i.e. public domain), but I also need to be able to read Cyrillic fonts. Classical Greek would, I suppose, be too much to ask.

I'm glad you found MR! I know the information can be overwhelming but there are many people here who can help point you in the right direction towards a reader that best fits your needs. Don't hesitate to ask questions and check out the dedicated reader forums. I wish I could help with your questions on special character reading, but I'm strictly an English reader. Welcome! I don't know about the Cyrillic fonts...I would think that the Sony reader could do it. I recommend you ask in that forum: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=100

 Reading classics is what I like to do too. I've downloaded almost all of the ones on my Kindle from right here at MR. The people here tend to do a really good job of formatting the books.
