Hey there...

Hi everyone, I've been a lurker for a few months now. I have a question, which I will post in the proper thread, but thought that it might be thought to be rude to just ask for help w/out introducing myself here.

I'm Heather and I am a reading-aholic.

I have a Sony 505 which I convinced my dh to buy me for Xmas. I have been using Calibre (thanks Kovid) to help me w/the metadata and have been d/loading lots of freebies here and all over the net. Thanks to all of you who have formatted and created stuff for us here.

I'm a reader, a teacher, a wife and a mother living in the very hot desert of Mesa, AZ. I like all kinds of books, and am a collector of antique paper books as well as the e-version.

I still own way too many paper books, but haven't had a chance to pare down yet. Now that summer is here, and I'm out maybe I'll be able to do that. (After my summer school class is over).

Hello Heather -- and welcome to MobileRead. I have a Sony 505 as well as a Kindle. I also read a significant number of paper books because I am active in a book swapping group.

Since you live in Arizona, you might want to track down DesertGrandma and have your very own Meet-up.

Welcome to mobileread! Glad to see another lurker come out of the closet.

How do you like your 505? Have you bought any accessories for it?

Hope your question gets answered what ever it was! And I bet that your looking forward to school being over so you can catch up on your reading! Irony???

Again Welcome!!!

Hey, you sounds a little bit like me! I have a sony 505 (which dh surprised me with this past November), I have been downloading freebies all over the net, I'm a reader, teacher, wife and mother, I live in Arizona.... Oh, wait, I don't anymore. But I did!

So I know you're not me, but close enough! Welcome, Heather

Welcome to MobileRead, Heather!

Like GraceKrispy, I'm a mom, teacher, wife, and avid reader, too! Now that schools out for the summer, jump into the Lounge for discussions on all kinds of non-ebook related topics! We have a great time.
