Burn Notice - Third Season Started
I think the best show on television today is USA Network's Burn Notice.
It just started its third season last week. If you missed it, it is available on Hulu for free. I use the Internet Movie Database linkage to view the shows. Their link is here. Burn Notice did get several mentions in the recent what is your favorite television show thread. |

I'm so glad, too. Not a lot of good TV in the summer, and it's generally the only time I have to watch TV!
Fun show, consistently. |

Count me in (okay so I download it,but I have bought the DVD boxsets as soon as they were released over here in the UK) on loving this show too. Great plots, one of the best uses of voice-over narration in years, consistently well acted and Bruce Campbell is in this, what more could you ask for?
USA network seems to have a lot of good shows that I watch on a regular basis: Monk, Burn Notice, Psych. |

Love it. Great casting. Great plots. Not so keen on the product placement stuff but I'm ok with it. I know it's tough to get the revenue going so I'm happy to gloss over that. Lots of stuff blows up so that makes me smiley.

eureka starts back in July if you like quirky scifi. Weeds comes back tomorrow, as well as the pilot for Nurse Jackie(I watched the pilot already. great show, Edie Falco is in it) as well as the Closer which alot of people like (I never got into it) and the second season of Raising the Bar also starts tomorrow, Finally a New law show that made it to season 2. and this one is great! same producer as Nypd blue I think, and alot of good actors. Deadliest catch is still a good watch (though its been wanning a bit, but opie season just started, and that's when all the exciting stuff happens) Mental, a New show that started 2 weeks ago is Hilarious and I hope it makes it. catch it Tuesday Real Time w/ bill maher is gonna be running the Entire summer for the first time ever. True Blood starts Up again next week, I only caught the pilot, but if you like vampires. it's a good take on them. Penn and Teller BULLSH!T starts up in a few weeks again for their seventh season. the jeff Goldbloom Episodes of LAO:CI are really good too. (I really don't like he who my mother calls crooked head) that Enough good shows for you? lol. I love summer TV. its more laid back, more funny. and they arent afraid to try new things (lost, greys anatomy are two shows that started in the summer that I can think of off the top of my head) |

I've never noticed any product placement. Honestly though. if there is a box of cheerios on the table, I don't think about it.. only when that box is called ROLLY-Os or something stupid do I notice it.

Yeah, there are more than I thought.
Haven't checked out Royal Pains (just found out about it today.) I've tried to like Eureka but... it just can't seem to get me. I often end up watching it out of boredom. ![]() Closer never did anything for me. Haven't seen Raising the Bar but will check it out. Deadliest Catch (and Ax men, etc) just ... I don't like them at all. Mental I saw... looks interesting. Am following it on Hulu. Real Time.. that's good. Wish I hadn't gotten rid of cable! Same with True Blood. Penn and Teller... I find this show amusing, but I have a problem with its polemic nature. I don't like it when people "telling the truth" are working their angles as hard as they do. I saw my first episode of Goldbloom's CI today... hadn't watched L&O in ages but it was good! I guess I'm just bitter about BSG going off the air, and Lost's season being over. ![]() |

Really? It's been pretty overt a few times. I don't quite remember what but I remember noticing going "wow... that's.... overt." :P

I watch It without commercials so if that's the case. that could be why. but like I said. I live with these real products every day. if I see them on a show I don't think twice. Unless they are trying to cover it up. or call it something different. like cans of Diet Cola stand out all the time... in the Coke font even. |
