Plans for a "Mini" Sony?

I jumped on the eBook band wagon along time ago. I started with reading books on my Palm Pilot 5000. I've moved along with the technology as it has evolved. Of course, the BIG leap was e-ink, and I knew that eBooks were here for the masses. I bought a Sony 500, and replaced it immediately with a 505 when the 500 got smashed. It has, and will continue to serve me very well. But....

I've read a couple news releases about the "Mini" books that are around the corner from Cybook and BeBook. MAN! I REALLY like the idea of a more pocket-able e-ink form factor.

Any whispers from Sony that they might follow with a Mini-form-factor of their own?

I have become comfortable with the Sony devices (THANKS to Calibe), and would like to continue with them.

I have not heard any rumors of a 5" Sony device. The only Sony rumors have been of a 9.7" screen.

No indications of a smaller Sony, except the obvious point that the screens are about to become available to everyone.

However, several of the announced 5" devices will be running mobile Adobe Digital Editions. So they are somewhat compatible with the existing Sony's for Adobe PDF and ePub.
