Hi!

Hello Mobileread forums!

I'm a new user, but have been lurking around the forums for some time now. I think this is a great site - the fora, the wiki - great place for looking for information.

I don't have a reader yet, but plan on getting one in the near future. At this time a Cybook or a Sony PRS-505 seems the wisest choice, possibly a Riidoo (homepage), but they haven't released their reader yet. On the other hand, they're Swedish, so it would be easier getting support from them (since I'm also Swedish).

Hi Gud and welcome to MobileRead. I've had a Sony 505 for well over a year now and like it a lot. Be sure and let us know what you finally decide

Welcome Gud!

Like cassidy, I'm a fan of the 505 (although I haven't had mine as long yet). I hope you make your decision soon! Thanks for the info on the Riidoo, I hadn't heard of that one yet!

Hi Gud and welcome to MobileRead.

I'm sure you'll enjoy all the features of a PRS-505.

I find it amusing that the link you referred to calls their eBook reader "pirat".

Yes, at the moment the PRS-505 looks better than the Cybook.

I don't really know if "Pirat" is the name of the reader - it could be that the company has some kind of cooperation with the Swedish publisher Piratförlaget (it is reminiscent of their logo), but I don't really know.

Well, it is kind of both.
