Navizon blends GPS + WiFi + Cell signals

Jim informed us of a new free service called Navizon, dubbed P2P wireless positioning system, where GPS-enabled members can collect and share their favorite locations with others anytime on the go. The clue: Navizon claims it can also triangulate through the signal strength of public WiFi access points and cell communication towers to determine your current latitude and longitude. This could become useful to point you back to civilization in case your GPS receiver loses its signal. You don't believe this works? Neither do we. If you give it a try, please share your findings with us!
