				Hi again all

Can someone explain to me how to start a new thread other than in the introduction thread. At the bottome of this thread i saw the tab that said new thread so I was able to start a new one. How do I start a new thread from outside of the introduction. I have some questions and want to make sure that I post them in the right place. And how do I keep up with the posts that I have made to see if someone has responded to my questions. Thanks everyone.

Go to the specific forum you want to start a new post in, and about 1/3 down from the top of the page you will 'Thread Tools' with a downward pointing triangle next to it. Click on that and a drop down box will show and one of the options it 'Start New Thread'.

To see if someone responded to your thread, make sure you are logged in and the blue bar towards the top of the site click on 'New Posts' then 'Your Posts'. I will sometimes see if there have been any responses to my posts using this method. |

I like to use the 'User CP' which lists all your subscribed threads. It is on the left side of the blue bar at the top. |

<time passes> I've just been informed that you didn't mean that kind of thread. Please ignore this post. I'm sure the ones above this one are much more helpful. Have a nice day! |

![]() godelocs, another way to start a new thread is to go to the forum you want to start a thread in. at the top left of the list of threads in the forum is a little blue button called "new thread". just click on that. i also use my "user cp" to keep track of replies to my threads ; you are automatically subscribed to any thread you start or reply in, and whenever there is a new post in one of your subscribed threads it will show up in the list there. you may also get an email alerting you to this, but you can modify that (otherwise you'll end up getting a LOT of emails) via your user cp as well. if you want to subscribe to a thread without posting in it, you can click on "thread tools" at the top of the thread, and select "subscribe". |
