I'm totally addicted to this game.
One of my villagers is about to die though, and I'm freaking out. I need to figure out how to save him. The healer keeps thinking she needs to embrace him, not heal him! ![]() |

Ugh. I did what everyone warns against: I left my villagers alone overnight instead of putting it on 'pause'.
When I woke up they were dead! I don't get it either -- I had over 500 food points. Oh well, back to the drawing board.... SO addictive |

The cool thing about this game is that it runs all the time and the simulation just keeps on going.

Hey I can't believe you guys didn't know about the editors yet!
![]() These are a life saver, especially if your villagers die...he, he, he ![]() http://jhywu.tripod.com/ Also, I have had that problem with them "dr" not healing but hitting on patients...not sure how to get around it, I have tried up-ing the "healing" points to no avail, so I usually just put the "dr" NEAR the patient and hope for the best or if I can't handle a death at that moment, I go into the editor and heal the villager myself ![]() |

I know about the editor, I just choose not to use it. Another handy trick is to save your pdf file to your external card and load that file back into RAM if you need it. Which I didn't do of course.
![]() Yea, the healing vs. embracing thing is somewhat mystifying.... I'm on my second round, and hoping for another whale (1k food points). Alex: I had a fish named Gil. The coroners report ruled it a suicide, but I'm not convinced since he didn't leave a note. |

I'm kind of wondering about the different variables within the game. I've had to restart it three times so far and each time I get different characters... which is nice actually.
Here's who I have right now: Ulu - Orange Dress, wearing flowers around her neck and in hair Elaku - Wearing a red and tan striped shirt Zen - Red head wearing a green dress (she's my healer due to her name ![]() Amaci - Came out of the bushes and is our master farmer. She's wearing a blue dress and has blue hair Azizi - Another blue hair, he sports a stache and beard and is wearing a vest (total hippie dude) Uan - Dark haired dude with stache and beard too, his shirt is gray Dofi - Long blue hair with green dress So far I haven't gotten past the flower field, but it seems that I miss a puzzle somewhere. A whale washes on shore and you can harvest it for food. I don't know what you're talking about with naming the fish, but I've restarted my game recently so I may not be that far along.
