Oh, that's the hard part...knowing your Reader is soooo close but still just out of reach.

That'll be me tomorrow. And you have to wait 48 hours until you can collect your parcels from our post office. Probably best I don't get it on my way to work, but still annoying to know it's there and I can't claim it!

yeah 48 hours would have driven me insane!!

I don't really know where to start now...

Do I install the Sony software then sync it up?

If I plan to use Calibre do I still need to install the Sony software?

Can I hold off registering (maybe they will have another free book promotion ^^) or do I have to do it straight away?

So many questions!

Congrats!

I use the Sony software, Adobe Digital Editions and calibre. Sony and ADE for getting books and calibre for keeping them organised.

Happy Reading!

48 hours?! Next day?! I'm so sorry, that would be torture!

We just have to wait an hour, then can go down to the local parcel office and collect it.

You know what...I got my reader when they had the promotion for the 100 free books, and I ended up downloading the books I wanted right from Mobilereads. So I'd go ahead and register your reader now. But its up to you.

Our sorting office is only open til midday. The postie doesn't usually turn up before 11... The cards used to say to leave a minimum of 2 hours, but now they simply scribble the following day on it!

The ones here tend to be better formatted than the ones from Sony, too

I spent most of last night reformatting some stuff I had then stayed up way too late reading!

I absolutely LOVE it. The screen is amazing and so easy to read and it was so easy to use. The only thing I don't like the way it handles PDF (using calibre to convert to ePub has messed up some of the formatting) but its still totally readable.

Going to order a bunch of stuff off BooksonBoard tonight and then look into buying a slip cover or a bag
