Just got my 505

I know a lot of people post these threads and many of you don't really care, but... I just got a Sony Reader, finally (I've been looking through these forums for about a year and a half now). It was $259.99+tax, and included the charger. I got it at BJ's (North East Wholesale store, like Sam's Club) but they only had silver ones.

I'm a 15 year old boy, I don't read too much, but I'm a gadget guy and am thinking having something electronic to read on will encourage me to do so. :]

Congrats! I wish I had had a machine like this at age 15. If you're a gadget guy, half the fun will probably be in searching out interesting books and getting them on your machine. Hope you get some great reading in!

Man!... when I was your age I would just not just read and read but almost devour books.

You are going to love the device and will lose yourself in no time, reading all those zillions stories in it.

That is sooo exciting! What sorts of things do you like to read or what kinds of movies do you like? That will help you find things you like to read.

There are tons of free books out there. Right now, my new fave site is bookviewcafe.com with lots of FREE new stuff by up-and-coming author superstars. Why not try out some of their content?

Also http://www.whatshouldireadnext.com/books/search is terrific.
