INVAILD USER ID

Hi there...

I am hoping the wonderful people on this site will assist me with a problem I have experienced with diesel ebooks...This is my first time posting on this site and I look forward to learning all about the up and coming ebooks...As of now I have the Sony PRS 505...which I didn't think I would like as well as actual books and now I can't image life without my ebook...well on with the story..today was my first and last time attempting to purchase an ebook from diesel ebooks...I should have known not to use this site when I had to change the settings on my netbook to use this site...I have had no problems with sony ebook site nor books on board....well once I selected and paid for my book on the diesel site....I received the email with the link that I could download my ebook...I selected this link entered my user id and password and what message did I receive MY USER ID IS INACTIVE...well this was the same USER ID I used when I made the purchase....I have contacted via email diesel's customer service several times...and of course like many others on this site has stated with no follow up response...I will definitely follow up with my credit card company and further I will be contacting ecommerce...

I would greatly appreciate if anyone on this site can provide me with contact information for this company...

Hi Lisa and welcome to MobileRead. I've never bought books from diesel so can't help but other friendly souls will no doubt log on with an answer for you.

Thanks for the friendly greeting.....

I wanted to update my rant...Through this site I was able to connect with a Diesel ebook representative (Scott) who fixed the problem within a matter of minutes.....However, I wished that I would have been able to connect with him through the customer service listed on the Diesel site which I emailed several times with no response......instead of getting completely fed up and not wanting to use the site again....

Have a wonderful evening and I look forward to visiting the mobile read site again....

Lisa -- I'm sorry that you had trouble with an eBook retailer, but I'm thrilled that it's all resolved and you've joined us at MobileRead. For your reading pleasure, check out the several thousand books which have been formatted especially for the Sony reader and stored in the eBook library here at MobileRead. Follow the links at the top of the page (in the blue bar) to browse through the books available for download.
