So Many Books...

... so little time.

What Ho! everyone.

I've been lurking on MobileRead since late last year when my wife gave me a PRS-505 as an early Christmas present. Since then I've been filling my boots (and 505 memory) with many of the splendid books available here. Thanks to all of the contributors whose work I've downloaded, and those I haven't - yet.

Over the past couple of months I've been getting my teeth into BookDesigner - mostly converting some of my favourite in-copyright books from paper to .LRF, so I have nothing to offer here as yet.

A long-term project is to convert the Old English Poetic Corpus; something of probably limited appeal, but I'll be happy to upload if there's any interest. Proper formatting is giving me some trouble, so look for my pleas for help in the appropriate forum.

Greetings Ervserver,

So far as I'm aware eBooks are not available.

Last time I was in my local public library I was hard-pressed to find any hardcopy books worth reading, let alone eBooks. Sad, but our libraries seem to be turning into Internet cafés.

I only seem to ever hear of people going to libraries these days to use the internet facilities.
