Hi from CT

Hi from CT. I've been reading ebooks for a long time, have my first handheld, a Dell Axim, a Palm Zire and recently won a Kindle. A friend told me she came across this forum for Kindle downloads. Nice to find all this info in one spot.

Hi pambook and welcome to MobileRead. I started reading on an iPaq years ago and liked it but eInk devices like the Kindle are way better. Prepare to get addicted.

What part of CT are you in? I graduated high school in Old Lyme and then went on to UCONN. All this LONG before eBooks were ever dreamed of.

Hi there, I've been reading ebooks long before most even knew about them, lol, when most were available as freebies before epubs starting popping up. I don't know if I would have bought the Kindle for the price since my Dell still works fine and I have that Palm for a spare, but happened to win it from an epub, and it is nice with the larger screen to read from at home.

Cassidy, I'm down in Stamford, one town over from the NY border. Have stopped in Old Lyme a time or two on my way to Mystic or Misquamicut Rhode Island. Visited Uconn in Storrs a few times when my niece attended there, and then again for her graduation. Homemade ice cream was very good, lol.
