Talking looking to Download an Fertility Calendar

HI all, I am trying to find a fertility or ovulation calendar for my pocket pc .. so far i found 2 (handango has one and so does pdatopsoft.com has the oher ) the problem is i dont want to pay so much for this program ... especially if i will only need it 1 or to months so does anyone have something similar ... i need something that will track my temperature and put it into a graph to help predict my most fertile days ...

I don't know anything about these, but here's a few possibilities from a quick search:

FREE...
http://www.pocketpcfreeware.com/en/index.php?soft=832

NOT FREE...
$30 http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=2403
$12 http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=6489
$8 http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=3142
$7 http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=12454
$5 http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=12176

Hope that gives you some leads, anyway.

Sorry they didn't help. Good luck to you!
(Maybe there's something you can find for your desktop PC that would work for you instead?)

No good why?
What didn't you like?
What was missing?
What didn't function as expected?

Did you email the authors of those applications and offer feedback?
Bug reports?
Feature requests?

Well let see .... warning ... TMI enclosed

Link #1 .... It doenst record temps ...(very important to tell when you ovulate ..)especially if you are irregular or have long cycles..

Link #2 ... I CURRENTLY am using that one ... cant customize to fit my cycles... and it doent have a modification for time of temp taking ..etc ... I am NOT happy with it

Link #3 ... It does let you input dates ... but it wont predict when you ovulate based on it ... just by the normal counting days ... no accurate ...

Link #4 ... no temp reading at all ...cant use

Link #5 ... it won't accept cycles less than 22 days or longer than 35 days (I have 41 ). and not TEMP reading either

Link #6 ... NOW THIS ONE I CANT D/L ... keep getting an error while installing saying that ........1155: File C:\My Documents\PDA SUFF\INSTMSIW.EXE not found
I d/l all versions and contacted support and havent heard from them ...

ONE that does EXACTLy what I need is a program called HORMONAL FORECASTER ..it does EVERYTHING THAT NEED TO BE DONE and it syncs w/ the ppc ... (except.. It only supports PALM at this time... .. )

Ahh yes TMI perhaps for some

I can't speak for hacker but I think maybe he was asking the question as he is himself a developer and developers I would guess dislike the fact that some folks will complain about a piece of software but not actually let the author know about it so they can consider adding the support or whatever. It sounds like you did contact the developers though so hopefully something good will come out of that.

Good luck with that and definitely good luck with your efforts to have a child.

I would love to talk to a developer who would be interested... There ALOt of people out there that need and want this type of software ..maybe not for ppc .. but still =) see there are websites out there like fertilityfriend and mycycles.com that havewhat im looking for in a ppc software ... so i guess im getting picky :/

Don't know if it's a repeat or new one, but Palm Addict has this post ...
Quote:
NFP is a freeware program for "tracking fertility, known as the Sympto-thermal Method, Fertility Awareness Method, Natural Family Planning, or Ovulation Method. NFP is a program designed for Palm OS that allows a woman or a couple to track her fertility using a set of simple daily measurements. NFP can be used either to avoid or achieve pregnancy."
