				iPhone compatible Mobileread page

Hi, I look at mobileread very often in the day on my iPhone and even though I can see and do things it isn't that clear or easy. What would be great is for someone computer minded to make a mobileread app just for the Iphone and/or similar devices. An app where you can view and write posts with ease. What do you think? Cheers |

Isn't there already a mobile version of MobileRead ? I don't have the link handy, but I think it exists. Maybe if you search in the forum you might find it. |

I find that if you view it in landscape mode, the standard MR site works very well on the iPhone.

Indeed, the Mobileread.mobi site is quiet usable on the iphone, and I usually spend about 30 to 45 minutes using it everyday. Yes while some links can be a bit hard to hit in Portrait mode (Last read, next, etc) especially if you have fat fingers like me, a quick pinch in solves that and just using Landscape mode would sole a lot of the ergonomic issues. While a iPhone specific page format would be nice, it would probably not help with the main problem I run into, typing long reply's using the iPhone virtual keyboard . |
