It completely depends on what you like. The 700 is a great device, with better PDF readability, touch screen, and larger fonts, but at the cost of less screen contrast and a higher price. What are the most important things you want in a reader?

I have decided to wait till the 700 is available in the Uk.
Have emailed sony to ask when it will be available here.

This is a great forum which im glad i have found and are enjoying reading many of the tips and advice. Thanks everyone.
