Hello Everyone!

I'm also new to the forum - I've known about it but never really did any in depth searching... but now that the Kindle 2 is "available" the pressure is on for me to decide between that, and the Sony - so I'm deciding to get more involved

(Although a number of the threads I've read seem to be well over my head...)

Welcome to the forum, limecello. It can be daunting trying to find data/info via thread search. You might want to try our WIKI here. Hopefully it will be somewhat easier to glean the data you're looking for. Or see the matrix here.

I've finally settled on the EZ Reader (Hanlin V3 family) with OpenInkPot firmware as my ideal. I have some problems with the way Amazon & Sony do business.

Another newbie here - I joined up yesterday to enter the Kindle 2 draw but did not have time to post any other messages. I'll check the forum daily to see if I can contribute anything.

some of the threads I looked into seemed helpful, but I didn't understand it all :X and some people got pretty argumentative quickly.

slayda - I LOVE your userpic! And thanks for the wiki tip. As for amazon and sony... yeah... :\ that's actually another thing that has delayed my decision...

lilac_jive - haha, well it is based off a drink! :P A bunch of people (who apparently don't know about limoncello/limecello always say it makes them think of lime jell). >.<

anr - guilty as charged as well, and I looked into it, but as for contributions... :X seems unlikely. Hopefully I can find some gems.
