Hello All

My sons bought my Sony for Christmas with their allowances. I had been lurking here for awhile, gathering information to make a decision about which reader I wanted. Then I dropped hints about exactly what I wanted. I am enjoying the best gift they have ever given me (correction bought me...I love all of the little gifts they make for me at school)!! I love this site, and the many things I have learned here to make my experience with the reader so much better!! Thanx!!

Welcome to the site, tcjuice.

I also received my Sony as a Christmas gift from my son (and I have to admit it is THE best gift he has ever given me).

What do you like to read? I read almost anything.

This site is great for learning about your Sony and has so many nice members who are willing to help.

Just ask and someone will chime in and answer or point you to the right place for information.

Thanx for the welcomes everyone!! My sons bought me a silver Sony reader, and they want me to use it all the time and not touch any paper books. We went to the library the other day, and they actually suggested I stay in the car because I didn't need any real books!! I have downloaded a few books and really enjoyed reading those classics.

I'm still a library lover- I still go there when a book I want isn't available as an ebook or is too expensive.

I still go too, lilac_jive, and I find myself now strolling through the stacks looking for books that I might want to put on my Sony.

Hi tcjuice and welcome to the Forum. Even if your sons won't let you in the library, keep in mind there lots of libraries have electronic versions. Check them out here https://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/EBook_Lending_Libraries

My brain just up and died.

I know I can read library books on my Kindle using kindlefix., (this doesn't strip drm, tc juice, just lets me read the books on my Kindle),

But what do you use with a sony for the same purpose?

(That would drive your sons nuts......you wouldn't even have to leave the house to use your library!)

By the way, Clevnet has an awesome variety of ebooks......)

I was thinking about taking a three hour road trip to Cleveland to get a library card, so that I could get use their ebrary. My husband thinks that is too much.
