E-reader won't start up

I've followed all the resetting and restarting directions and have completely restored it and it's been sitting on the front page with the arrows turning for over 3hrs and not doing anything, is there any recommendations y'all can give me? Is there anything more I can do is my e-reader completely messed up? I'm really disheartened as I'm in the middle of reading a series and it freezed when going to the next book. After that it hasn't been starting up and no matter how many times i've restarted and reset it, it stays on that menu page with the arrows constantly spinning.

I finally got it to work I right clicked on the drive it shows up as on my computer since my computer was still reading it though the elibrary wouldn't, I formatted it from there and it worked afterwords. I'm extremely grateful, I just hope I don't have anything like this happen again.
