Prevent changing case of tags?

Is there a way to STOP new tags updating old tags....

Say I have a book in my library with the tags:
NASA, ROTC, FBI, Post Apocalyptic, Moon, Adventure, Action

I get the next book in the series, and when I update the Metadata, the site where it gets the metadata has these tags:
Nasa, rotc, fbi, post apocalyptic, moon, adventure, action

This will change All tags for any book in my library using any of these tags to this case. (i.e. Upper case, Lower Case, Capitalized, etc.)

Is there a way to make sure tags for new books do not change the case of the existing tags.

Tag comparison ignores case, so tags can have only one case. You can't have NASA and Nasa. This goes for most calibre data such as series and publishers.

As for preventing the change, the only ways I know if are a) to use tag rules to modify the tags to use the desired case or b) not to download tags at all.

Ahh "tag rules" I did various searches first and could not find appropriate topics. Now I see some to read.
