since v. 8.5 the following errors stop abruply the import, leaving huge temp folders.
The exception should be handled gracefully, skipping the file or converting it with legacy method.

Also the issue of the TEMP files should be addressed, maybe processing the files in batches, at least informing that the device with no more space is the PC itself.

A couple of possibilities. You may have a program likely an anti-virus/malware that is interfering with calibre's ability to create and use it's temporary files. Alternatively looking at your log is the file paths are getting too long. I believe a fix for that issue will be released with the next calibre release.

No those paths are not too long, I just made a commit about it coz this post made me look at the relevant code and I decided to make it robust against long paths while there.

The path in the OPs error message is only 111 chars long. Most likely their issue is caused by an invalid EPUB file.

Very thankful for your answer. I fully solve the problem. It was the temporary file. Do so big as 13 GB and field my heart disk. I got confused because the error was about to the device , But it was not the reader but my p c I was merging different libraries. So importing more than 10000 books.
