Alpha release of my Instapaper/Read it Later app

About a month ago I posted my plans to build a replacement for Pocket support on Kobo. My eventual goal is a simple app that ex-Pocket users will feel at home in and is as close to a "native" Kobo app as possible. It currently supports Instapaper, but I'm interested in extending it to other services as well.

I've now got this project at a point where I would love some feedback! I've just pushed the first release for Kobo (currently I don't have any other devices to test on). You can download the first release via the Github page here:

Note that it is not yet possible to run this project alongside KOReader – installing will replace your current KOReader install, if any.

I am eager to get on the bandwagon, but will have to defer it until I can have this together with KOreader, or run from within it.

After rereading README I still do not get it. Will KOreader be functional after the installation of ereader or not? And what happens with the updates of koreader?

It's a fork of KOReader, so you can still use KOReader, but you will be using this version of it and not the official KOReader anymore.

That's right. I've tried to keep changes to core KOReader very minimal, and keep the code base up to date. All the core functionality is implemented as a plugin, which I may try to push back into the main KOReader repo if there is interest from the maintainers.

The project might also diverge from KOReader where it makes more sense to have entirely separate installs. Or perhaps I can even do both – a version as a plugin for KOReader users and a separate project for others.

Since posting this I've also added the ability to have separate shortcuts to launch KOReader and eReader. So, you shouldn't have any issues using KOReader as long as you are comfortable living a development build!
