Best option for using a bluetooth keyboard with text editing?

I'm considering between if I should use a screen mirroring or vnc plugin and if so which, as I haven't been able to get my bluetooth working with koreader to use the text editor there. Essentially hoping to use my Kobos as text editors/notepads.

Actually your phone (or keyboard connected to it) can send punctuation to fbpad running on the kobo...
