[PB Era] Backlight stopped working

I own a Pocketbook Era I bought a bit over 2 years ago and this week the backlight just stopped working.

I already turned it completely off and on again and tried a factory reset but that didn't help.

Everything else works as always.

Has this happened to anyone else before? Do you have any suggestions what I might try?

I've contacted Pocketbook Support and they asked me to send a video and additional info, but as the device is just over 24 months old, I fear I'm not covered by warranty anymore
