How can I Dealing comics purchased on Comicxology to high resolution?

Hello.

I am currently capturing comic pages to use on Wiki at their original resolution, but it is very difficult because I have to enlarge the image, capture it multiple times, and then combine the images.

Does anyone know how to get the original images from comic books purchased from Kindle/Comicxology?

When attempting to convert the caliber, the maximum horizontal and vertical resolutions are limited to 1920. I am curious about how to obtain the original image provided in 1988x3056.

If you are doing screen captures, then ideally you have a monitor that can display a full page at a resolution greater than what you require. Then you don't have to stitch things together. In my case I have Apple Studio Display (5120x2880 - 5K), a 4K display should work just as well.

How do you know original image is 1988x3056? KFX comics files downloaded to device are usually 1920x1248. They can get upscaled on a display but it's not really generating higher resolution. There's no point in having them upscaled, it just makes the files larger.

1988x3056 is the maximum size I have seen for Kindle comics and matches what used to be available directly from Comixology. Some past discussions: here and here.

So, do you know of a script to extract images from those files?

If you obtain comics in KFX format you can then use the From KFX toolbar action to convert to CBZ.
